We’ve added some luxurious herbs and spices to our bastille soap! This lavish bar contains fresh lavender, ginger and ground nutmeg. It’s deeply fragrant and we’ve packed in both lavender essential oil and flowers to rejuvenate and exfoliate the skin.

Lavender cleanses, detoxifies, and balances all skin types and is known for its proven calming and relaxing effects – perfect for the winding down bath at the end of the day. Aside from the comfort its scent lends, lavender also provides anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties and can help people suffering from skin conditions such as mild burns, scabies and dermatitis.

Ginger is known to improve circulation in the body. An increased blood flow can help lead to healthy and vibrant looking skin.

Nutmeg is great for skincare. It has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and astringent properties, and it is known to help heal scars, reduce the likely hood of infections and help to control your natural oils.

ManSoap Company bar soaps are handmade, in small batch, with all natural ingredients:
• (English) olea europaea (olive) oil, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, elaeis guineensis (palm) oil, ricinus communis (castor) oil, lavandula angustifolia (lavender), zingiber officinale (ginger) root, myristica fragrans (nutmeg), lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil.
• (French) huiles saponifiées (olive, palme, noix de coco, ricin), lavende, gingembre, muscade, huile essentielle (lavende).

Caring for your handmade soap:
Handmade soaps naturally have a high glycerin content, which is great for your skin – but it also means the soap requires a place to dry out between uses. The glycerin attracts water and if left in standing water, the soap will break down quickly. To prolong the lifespan of your soap, do not allow it to sit in a dish or container that is bowl-shaped, or that allows water to pool in the bottom. Instead, be sure to store your soap in a dry place out of the stream of water, and on a draining soap dish. Allowing the soap to dry between use will extend the life span of the bar.
