Hemp Seed Soap | Savon au grains de chanvre

We’ve added cold pressed unrefined organic hemp seed oil to our bastille soap recipe. The addition of hemp seed oil to soap has a number of benefits for your skin. Perfect for most skin types, hemp oil will actually help moderate oil production in your skin so it isn’t too dry or oily. Hemp oil won’t clog your pores, is very soothing on the skin and will help with redness and inflammation.

Our bar is richly packed with vitamins and essential fatty acids making this soap extremely good for the skin. Because hemp seed oil has incredible anti-inflammatory properties, this is a great all natural soap for dry or sensitive skin and it’s very helpful for eczema and other skin conditions.

Safe for everyone to use, hemp soap does not get you high (it does not contain THC) and it does not have any harmful side effects.

Unrefined cold-pressed hemp seed oil is a clear green oil and the high percentage of hemp oil used has given the soap a natural green colouring. The amazing fresh scent of this soap is the result of a favourite combination of tangerine and lime essential oils.

• (French) huiles saponifiées (olive, graines de chanvre, palme, noix de coco, ricin),huiles essentielles (tangerine, citron vert).

Caring for your handmade soap:
Handmade soaps naturally have a high glycerin content, which is great for your skin – but it also means the soap requires a place to dry out between uses. The glycerin attracts water and if left in standing water, the soap will break down quickly. To prolong the lifespan of your soap, do not allow it to sit in a dish or container that is bowl-shaped, or that allows water to pool in the bottom. Instead, be sure to store your soap in a dry place out of the stream of water, and on a draining soap dish. Allowing the soap to dry between use will extend the life span of the bar.
